- I have a question about slip and tcp/ip. If my understanding of this is
- correct. The current linux kernal does not have slip and tcp/ip support in
- it. However, I seem to remember that something called kaq9 is supposed to
- be a program that could help you get around that. Now, I downloaded the
- kaq9 from tsx-11.mit.edu source and looked at the readme files. I do not
- neccessarly understand what slip and tcp/ip work with this kaq9. Can someone
- out there who has gotten slip and tcp/ip to work with linux 96cpl1 explain
- how kaq9 fits in to all this since slip is not in the kernel.

- The overall goal of this is to see if X running on my sun at work can display
- the output on my home computer running linux with a high speed connection.
- i.e. 9600+ (with all the hardware compression I can get...) I would appreciate
- any help on this matter and if the response is great. I'll keep a list and post
- the results....
