  12. I have about 10 or 15 meg of .gif files on my dos partition, and would like
  13. to move them over to linux, however, mtools doesn't seem to work anymore.  I
  14. have gcc2.2.2 and Linux .96c, however I have no Idea how to patch or
  15. recompile the kernel to get the dosfs going (pl2)....I don't know what I
  16. need to compile the kernel.  I got the binutils for gcc, but there is no
  17. patch or make in there.....   Please help me...any suggestions will be
  18.
