- On our Suns we use commercial software for some word processing.
- Depending upon the user and the group, WordPerfect, IslandWrite, or
- Publisher. The one free program I've seen that might do the job is
- "doc". Unfortunately this depends upon Interviews, and I'm not sure
- whether Interviews under G++ is stable yet. We've had a comple of
- versions of doc up for test, but I'm not sure whether it's solid yet.
- Doc is a WYSIWG word processor whose files are in a format that looks
- *very* close to LaTeX, though it isn't exactly LaTeX (and doesn't
- use TeX to process). I think once Interview and doc are solid,
- it's going to become quite popular.
