- Hi Linuxers,
- I was reading the FAQ and I came upon the section where it talks about how
- much disk space is neede for installing Linux. It seems that about 40MB is
- needed - but the answer is not quite clear. There is some mention that X takes
- up 150MB!

- Once and for all please help me answer this question:
- suppose I wanted to install linux, with gcc and g++ etc and
- a few (not all) utilities and a fully functional X-windows system
- then how much disk space (in an uncompressed format) should I set
- aside.
