- This is the third time I've posted this, maybe I'll get lucky. I'm
- trying to get a mouse to work with X. The first time I asked where the
- docs were, people said I needed P/L2 for a bus mouse, only serial mice
- worked. So I got the new kernel and installed it, and it didn't work
- with the bus mouse. So I went out and got a serial mouse and port (this
- is an odd config, had only one serial), changed the Xconfig and
- /etc/cantremember, and tried again. Still nothing, but /dev/mouse is
- gone!
-
- I don't want guesses, if there is some documentation I can read please
- point me to it. If not I'll forget for now and do something useful. I
- have an nice X system to use, I'm just play with linux and would rather
- port my software than spend hours diddling with undocumented software
- from someone else.

- It never ceases to amaze me that otherwise rational people, able to
- understand calculus, compound interest, and the income tax form, can
- continue to believe that poker is a game of chance.
