  12. Has anyone out there ported software for fax modems to linux?
  13. I have a Zoom fax modem.  According to the manual: "The T.30 (CCITT
  14. standard) portion of the handshake is handled by the faxmodem hardware,
  15. while the T.4 portion is handled by your fax software."
