- I finally got around to playing with named pipes (Fifos) and
- subsequently got confused. After doing "mkfifo foo", I got a file
- called "foo|" in my directory with permissions of "prw-------", and I
- can't seem to get rid of it. I made some feeble attempts to write
- things to this file and read them back from another program, but these
- were met with "Syntax errors" (from the shell??). Anyway, I'd like to
- know the particulars on these "named pipes" and also how to get rid of
- them.
- Thanks..
