- If you're using 0.96cpl2, I agree. I still see problems with SLIP.
- There's no reason to expect SLIP to be different than any other
- program that uses the serial line. I posted some patches that are
- sufficient to eliminate the loss for me. Linus sent me back his
- version of them, which I presume will be in pl3. His version works
- fine for me. However a drop once every couple of minutes may not be a
- serial problem at all. It may be interference from the disk code, or
- even a real line error. I'm not sure it's realistic to expect
- absolutely zero errors.
