- I came across an ad in August issue of Computer Paper (a 100-page, nation-wide
- distributed, free, monthly paper. Circulation in Canada: 185,000). It reads:
-
- AVAILLABLE AT LAST: LINUX, the free 386 Unix-like operating system that
- coexists with DOS and even runs X-Windows! Also includes: GCC/C, GDB, EMACS,
- UUCP/MAIL, kernel source, and much, much more. Copy Service fee $4 per disk.
- Base system: 10 disks= $40. X-Windows option: 5 dislks=$20. (address omitted)
-
- (Note: 1 Canadian Dollar= 0.84 US Dollar)

- It seems someone is filling the vacuum for those who want free-unix but have
- no ftp access.
- Comments, anyone?
