- Here's something that works for me (and I haven't found anything similar to
- it in this newsgroup or in the FAQ's). I think there is a mouse test program
- that came with X11R5 1.1. Try running that and see if it gives back reasonable
- values (it did for me an my serial C7). If it does than start Xwindows, and
- run the mouse test program in the Xterm window. After you exit the test
- program, the mouse should behave normally.

- I can't really guarantee that this will work (it worked for me). If it does
- pull the loop out of the test program (so it just initializes the mouse and
- exits without any user intervention). and put it in your .xinitrc file.

- BTW: The mouse set up in my Xconfig file is logitech, 9600 baud (baudrate
- doesn't matter). The mouse test file was in /tst/mouse/mouse. I'm pretty
- sure it came with the Xwindows. (It just appeared on my hd one day!)
