  14. Ok, it's me again, that new user.  I found all the sites
  15. that carry linux stuff, thanks to all who replied.  I can
  16. use linux's kermit to download the smaller things.  At
  17. school, I can use a sparc station to copy the bigger things
  18. to a floppy disk.

  20. How do I transfer this to my hard disk at home?
  21. Should I:
  22.     Use dd, then tar xzf, like the installation disks?
  23.     Copy to disk in msdos format, then how do I read them?

  25. Please keep in mind that I haven't tried anything yet, so if
  26. this sounds like a stupid question, please don't grumble...no
  27. matter how much of a guru you may be now, you were a beginner
  28. at some point 8^).
