  10. I just got everything upgraded to 0.96c PL2. SLICK! Except...

  12. I'm trying to use all 4 of my serial ports. I have 2 cards, each
  13. with 2 ports. One card uses 2 16550 UARTs. I've tried various IRQ
  14. setups, but haven't gotten things to work yet.

  16. Right now I have:

  18. COM1   IRQ 4
  19. COM2   IRQ 3
  20. COM3   IRQ 5
  21. COM4   IRQ 2

  23. When booting, Linux says that COM3 and COM4 have the same IRQs as
  24. COM1 and COM2, respectively. Like this:

  27. COM2   IRQ 3
  28. COM3   IRQ 4
  29. COM4   IRQ 3

  31. Linux does this no matter how I have the IRQs set up. Why, and how
  32. do I fix it?

  34. BTW, the first 2 ports work properly, but the last 2 don't, obviously.
  35. I can send data out the port, but nothing can get in. I assume this IRQ
  36. problem is at the heart of the matter.
