- I was looking to get TeX for Linux, and I have gotten all the necessary files,
- etc. However I am interested not only in LaTeX, but SliTeX, BibTeX, and
- METAFONT. Therefore, I was wondering if they were available and I just
- couldn't find them on the various ftp sites, or if the person who did the
- port has the format files for SliTeX and the binaries for BibTeX and
- METAFONT as well. I am also interested in knowing if the TeX available
- is a BIG version of TeX or not. If not, then I will be compiling the
- whole TeX distribution and would be willing to put it up for
- ftp if enough people are interested (and if I can get it done.)
-
- Thanks,
-
- Nick
