  11. A new alpha test version of the MS-DOS FS can be found on
  12. banjo.concert.net as pub/Linux/Incoming/dosfs.6.tar.Z

  14. It is relative to the 0.96c kernel at patchlevel 2. A patch and a full
  15. set of sources are included. The contents of the patch and the TAR
  16. archive, that contains the source, are equivalent.

  18. This is primarily a maintenance release and it contains several bug
  19. fixes. One bug caused the FS to "forget" to deallocate clusters after
  20. a rmdir. Therefore, (MS-DOS') CHKDSK should be run on disks, on which
  21. an rmdir has been performed, to reclaim the lost clusters.

  47.   - fixed a bug in MS-DOS to UNIX date conversion that changed all
