- Could it be that this 6 MB machine has a mixture of memory sizes? I've
- seen a few postings like this from different people with different machines,
- with the similarity that they were mixing 4 MB and 1 MB SIMMs. I'm using
- (8) 1 MB SIMMs in my (Gateway 2000) (generic) 386/33 and don't have any
- problems. If it is indeed a mixture of memory sizes, see if this problem
- goes away when using just the same sized memory.
