- I have 2 cards, each with 2 serial ports. After playing with the IRQs all day
- I'm stumped. COM1 and COM2 work with IRQs 4 and 3 respectively, but no other
- values. COM3 and COM4 don't work properly with any values. (I've mainly tried
- 2 and 5) When a port is not working right, it sends OUT just fine, but nothing
- gets IN. (I can send commands ok to modems, etc, but nothing comes thru the
- other way.)
-
- I'm using Linux 0.96c, no patches. Does patch level 1 have anything to do with
- this? If so, is there a way to get a 0.96c1 image? I haven't been able to
- install GCC 2.2.2, due to lack of info about where everything goes. (I have
- -I think- all the GCC 2.2.2 tar files, but can't find any readme describing
- how to install it.)
