- when I boot linux on my home machine, I see a getty running on ttys1.
- I wonder where this is coming from, since (a) the is no ttys1 device on
- the machine, (b) it's not in inittab, and (c) it's not in /etc/rc.

- Oh, and after going out and getting a serial mouse because I didn't
- want to wait for the patches which make the bus mouse work, and putting
- in a serial card to run the mouse, X still doesn't see it (yes I patched
- Xconfig).
