  12.    I would like to add that we desperately need a Unix-based program
  13. to set these clocks on the Diamond Speedstar 24.  Well, *I* 
  14. desperately need it ;-) because I use MFM for DOS and external SCSI
  15. drives for Unix so I have to turn the power off to switch out 
  16. hard disk controller cards (i.e., I have Esix 4.0.3a and use all
  17. SCSI for Unix...believe me, you don't want to mix MFM and SCSI drives
  18. with Esix's drivers ;-)).

  20.   I was thinking of punting this Speedstar 24 card, but it sounds like
  21. there's enough people getting them that /someone/ who is proficient in
  22. 386 assembly can come up with a solution so we can use GAS on it.

  24.   I will try to call Diamond and see if they will send me some information
  25. on how to set the dot clocks.
