- I would like to add that we desperately need a Unix-based program
- to set these clocks on the Diamond Speedstar 24. Well, *I*
- desperately need it ;-) because I use MFM for DOS and external SCSI
- drives for Unix so I have to turn the power off to switch out
- hard disk controller cards (i.e., I have Esix 4.0.3a and use all
- SCSI for Unix...believe me, you don't want to mix MFM and SCSI drives
- with Esix's drivers ;-)).
-
- I was thinking of punting this Speedstar 24 card, but it sounds like
- there's enough people getting them that /someone/ who is proficient in
- 386 assembly can come up with a solution so we can use GAS on it.
-
- I will try to call Diamond and see if they will send me some information
- on how to set the dot clocks.
