  12. I tried using the shutdown utility from the 0.96c root disk under 0.96cpl2
  13. and it gave me messages "cannot umount /dev//dev/hda3" and "cannot
  14. umount /dev//dev/hda2" or something to that effect. These are indeed
  15. mounted as / and /usr.

  17. It seems shutdown is prepending /dev/ when it is already there. Are there
  18. newer binaries for this? And where is the source? I can't seem to locate
  19. it at the usual sites in the usual places.
