  21.   You obviously have a different version of laceup than he does (or I
  22. do). Having done just exactly what you suggest so bluntly, on boot the
  23. system shows a map of partitions with 2 highlighted by an asterisk, and
  24. waits for a partition number to be entered.

  26.   When you tell someone to RTFM it's wise to be sure that what the FM
  27. says is correct. In this case, at least for some versions of laceup (or
  28. some machines), this isn't the case.

  30.   I also noted that evil things happened when I just hit ENTER to take
  31. the default. It didn't. I'm perfectly willing to believe that this is a
  32. BIOS anomaly, but no amount of following the directions will help.
