- With the addition of the DOS FS, the kernel has grown to over
- 256K, which, if my memory serves me correctly, was the max
- size I compiled it to load of /Image. At any rate, it doesn't
- seem to boot for me any more. And since I don't have minix
- 386 anymore...
-
- Anyways, now that extended FS is here, we only need a few partitions.
- Maybe one for DOS, one for the root partition and one for the
- extended partition, plus one for the boot partition = 4.
- Just right. When the kernel can use an EXT FS for the root
- then we may need even one less. And if/when the DOS emulator,
- we can even skip the DOS partition and run it from a file.
