  12. Is it possible to get 'sort' to use the default TMPDIR environment
  13. variable instead of the /tmp/sort* and other directories?  I realize
  14. that sort -T can force it, but it would be nice if the default could
  15. point to a rather large ramdisk device that's just sitting here.
