  11. I got my D: hard drive up, and Coherent installed. After copying some of
  12. the raven software onto the Coh drive, I tried to uncompress (with a work
  13. file), and it must have taken over 15 minutes to uncompress the file.

  15. I vaguely remember someone saying earlier that very slow disk access might
  16. be due to using the wrong disk access method. If so, how can I change my
  17. interrupt based access to polled access? PLEASE say that I don't have to 
  18. reinstall.
