  15. I do this all the time and it works just fine. I use tar (not ustar) on the
  16. SUN and ustar (not tar) on Coherent. I would think using ustar on both the SUN
  17. and Coherent would also work. Coherents tar is a v7 style tar which is probably
  18. why you get errors trying to read the ANSI tar image produced by ustar.
