- : 1. In an advertisment the KornShell is mentioned, is this the true

-
- A usable clone.
-
- : 2. I would like to use some GNU-Tools like gcc 2.2, gdb, flex, bison etc.
- : Is it possible to compile/run them on version 4.0, since
- : under 3.1 there were some problems.
-
- Flex and bison are ported. MWC has ported gcc, I don't know which release.
- From my own experience with 4.0-beta I would say it's not a great problem
- to port System V programs to Coherent 4.0 because it's very close to
- System V.3. If you want to run gcc, you'll need a lot of memory, because
- 4.0 comes without swapping, paging and shared libs.
