- Howdy,
-
- I have just purchased Coh (got it this morning in fact!) for a company that
- want me to teach introductory Unix to about 8-9 people. The company has
- limited budget and so Coh seemed the best thing to use.
-
- The system I have to use is as follows:
-
- 386-25 CPU with 4Meg RAM.
- 2 x PC_COM 4 port dumb serial cards (which I have been told are supported by
- both Coh and SCO)
-
- The only negative comment I have heard about this setup so far is that there
- might be lags due to the fact that in a teaching situation, there are 9
- users all doing the same thing at once.
-
- Has anyone done the same thing as I am doing, and does anyone have any comments
- about what I could do to smooth things out if it occurs? I haven't even broken
- the sealed pack of disks yet, but I do know Unix fairly well, so please bear
- with my ignorance of Coh itself.
-
- Thanks,
- Daf.
