- : Help!!!

- : This Saturday I need to teach a short (1-2 hours) "Intro to UNIX" course
- : to employees of a small company. I thought it'd be nice to bring along
- : a machine so I could actually give them some of "hands on". So, I grabbed
- : an old 286 I had kicking around, dug out my COHERENT 3.2.0 disks and
- : manual, and installed it. The installation went fine, but the keyboard
- : mapping iw really warped. What is supposed to be the ALT key works like
- : the CONTROL key, ESCAPE works like NUMLOCK, the '\' key won't work at
- : all, etc, etc, etc... What gives? I've tried it with two different
- : keyboards (both AT 101's). The BIOS is AMI... I assume I need to set up
- : a different keyboard driver (it's been a while since I've used COH) I
- : definately chose the US AT-101 driver (first one on the list) at installation
- : time...

- Hi,
-
- contact MWC to send You the disk 3.2.0.15. You have to reinstall Coherent
- using this disk as bootdisk. Or ask them to send You a set of 3.2.1 disks,
- and choose 'YOUR_KEYBOARD_LAYOUT (not loadable)' from the keyboard selection
- menu.
-
- Cheers, Ecki
