- Did you consider IDEF0 as a possible process (or function or activity) model?
- Hierarchical nature of operations is well captured by the model. The "Inputs,
- Controls, Outputs and Mechanisms" characterization impose the temporal
- constraints qualitatively. The state changes can be represented as procedures
- attached to represent the dynamics of each function. The quantitative temporal
- relations can also be represented in these procedures.
