  15. This is the CD-ROM version of Kings Quest V by Sierra On-Line.
  16. The game has absolutely beautiful graphics, and is in my opinion
  17. on of Sierra's finest story lines to date.  It truely is an epic
  18. adventure taking from a village, through a desert, to a witches
  19. castle, through snowy mountains, over a sea, and evetually to the
  20. evil wizard Mordack's island and castle.

  22. The CD-ROM version is basically the same as the original, except for
  23. the 125+ Megabytes of sound.  There is little text, and everything
  24. is spoken including things like "Are you sure you want to quit?".

  26. You will need a sound board, and of course, a cd-rom player for this game
  27. It will run on DOS directly or in windows as an Multi-Media program.
  28. When I played on Windows, peculiarly enough, most of the non-player
  29. and background animation was disabled.  Perhaps I mis-configured something,
  30. but I just palyed it under DOS.

  32. The game comes on a CD in a standard plastic CD "jewel box", with all 
  33. documentation in the "liner notes".  I received no other cards or boxes,
  34. etc. - perhaps because I ordered it with my cd-rom player.
