- Well, I can think of two just off the top of my head.

- 1. Using serial control of a laserdisk, you can have a
- customized, interactive educational game similar to the arcade
- ones.

- 2. With enough processing power (and a 486 has it) you could
- inspect and capture significant news stories from CNN. The
- military would have loved that capability to help generate
- briefings during the Gulf War.
