  12. I am new to the world of multimedia, but extremely interested, and am
  13. asking those of you more knowledgable (stroke, stroke) to give any
  14. suggestions for learning tools, resources, etc (besides my hands and
  15. an inquisitive mind, of course) that might speed up my intake of
  16. knowledge.  I have a good base of computers, and working with your
  17. "average" academic user with medium range graphics and such, so this
  18. is a big jump.
