- Pardon me if this is a FAQ somewhere, but I can't seem to find any
- newsgroup dedicated to or even mentioning CD-ROM or optical disk based
- database information. Any pointers in the right direction would be
- appreciated.
-
- Someone in my company has thousands of data books from many companies
- containing Integrated Circuit data specifications.
- These books need to be continually replaced with more current
- information.
-
- The perfect solution would be an optical disk based subscription service
- similar to what many professions now have, such as lawyers and realtors.
- They get monthly updates with the current laws and homes for sale
- respectively shipped to them on a CD-ROM for a fixed monthly or yearly
- fee.
-
- Does anybody know of a source for that information for IC's?
- I'm certain there is a market out there with all the electronic
- engineers needing this kind of information.
- A central clearing-house providing information on multiple vendors
- would be preferable, but even if each vendor would produce a small PC
- CD-ROM based package it would help greatly.
-
- Thank you in advance.
