- I'll put in my $.02 worth and say that the opinion of sensible people from
- the last time this was gone round about was not much different from the
- conventional wisdom. If it's windows, go with Word (WP for Win smells
- _bad_). If it's DOS, go with WordPerfect if you're interested in great
- phone support, fast execution, good solid printer support, wide portability
- to other DOS word processors, and a somewhat less vulnerable file structure.
- Go with Word for DOS (especially sinc version 5.5) if you like Microsoft's
- menu system or have to _read_ _in_ docs from other word processors
- (WordPerfect is at best mediocre in that area, even with their new separate
- conversion product -- hey, BTW, doesn't that steam you WP people out there?
- That means no more development on the Convert utility!).
