- One slight clarification. It is my understanding that you CAN sue for
- damages for copyright infringment without registering. What you CAN'T
- sue for is your attorneys' fees.

- This may sound like a small point, but it can make the difference in
- whether a small outfit can prosecute a larger company. The lawyers of
- the larger company may be much more willing to push it if they know
- that a copyright has not been filed.
