- I have currently installed some IBM RS/6000 running AIX 3.2. I am having
- difficulty configuring the sendmail program for batch mail distribution.
- By this I mean, have sendmail queue messages, start a queue run, make a
- connection to the destination host, deliver all mail to users on that
- host, break the connection, then process the next batch for the next host.
-
- Is this possible using sendmail? If so, does anyone know what the parameters
- are for the Mlan/Mtcp mailer?
-
- Does anyone know of a commercially-available alternative to sendmail on AIX
- which provides this capability? I am also looking for an X user interface
- tool for mail system administration/queue management. Hopefully it would
- be one and the same product.
-
- Does the public available Smail program run on AIX and if so does it support
- the batch SMTP mail delivery I describe above?
-
- Thanks,
- Jim Graham
