  12. What is the meaning of "OR" in sendmail.cf?  I couldn't
  13. find it in the sendmail.cf documentation or in generic.cf.
  14. The comment in the sendmail.cf I'm using says OR is "remote
  15. mode - send mail through server if mailbox directory is
  16. mounted."  Which server is used and how can you tell if a
  17. mailbox directory is mounted?

  19. My sendmail.cf has a DMuucp entry to use uucp as my primary
  20. mail forwarder and has a DR entry to define a relay host.
  21. I turned up NIS (yellow pages) and mail for local users
  22. started flowing to the yellow pages server, which is not 
  23. what I wanted - I wanted it to stay local.  I suspect the
  24. OR is doing this.

  26. Any light anyone could shed on this would be greatly
  27. appreciated.
