- Folks,
-
- What is the meaning of "OR" in sendmail.cf? I couldn't
- find it in the sendmail.cf documentation or in generic.cf.
- The comment in the sendmail.cf I'm using says OR is "remote
- mode - send mail through server if mailbox directory is
- mounted." Which server is used and how can you tell if a
- mailbox directory is mounted?
-
- My sendmail.cf has a DMuucp entry to use uucp as my primary
- mail forwarder and has a DR entry to define a relay host.
- I turned up NIS (yellow pages) and mail for local users
- started flowing to the yellow pages server, which is not
- what I wanted - I wanted it to stay local. I suspect the
- OR is doing this.
-
- Any light anyone could shed on this would be greatly
- appreciated.
-
- Thanks.
