  13. On an SGI machine running IRIX 4.0.4 I have a peculiar
  14. mail problem I don't understand. All users can send/receive
  15. Internet mail just fine, except one user klein. He can send
  16. mail out, but incoming mail bounces. A 'mail -v' to him
  17. shows 'mail: Can't send to klein' and bounces it.

  19. A finger looks ok, I have the same sendmail.cf working
  20. on more than 6 other SGI's, I've rebuilt it anyway,
  21. and I've removed and readded klein as a user. He tells
  22. me that if a .forward file is there to someone else,
  23. it works. I checked the aliases file and there are
  24. none for him. He has no .mailrc file. I have checked
  25. /usr/mail for a klein file (none), and checked
  26. /usr/spool/mqueue for any files (none).

  28. /bin/mail is exactly the same, including protections and
  29. ownership as at another SGI machine
  30. that I just added a klein account to and it receives
  31. mail just fine.
