  14. I work in a large network of Sun workstations and to solve the problem
  15. of mail being sent to a workstation that may well be unavailable we
  16. send all mail to an alias that is guaranteed to have a high
  17. availability. In fact it is an alias that moves from time to time.
  18. After trying a couple of methods of getting mh to use the from address
  19. that I wanted I gave up and used a reply-to line in reply and compose
  20. forms. I thought that that solved everything but now I notice that in
  21. the posting process I get the alias eos translated to the main machine
  22. name of eos99. This isn't so important but I wondered if it was
  23. possible to override the translation in any way and also what the
  24. historical reasoning behind the translation was.
