- Yes, xmh limits the number of digits in a message number to 4.
- Yes, this is a bug, and no, we don't have a bug report on file about it.
- The silly code is in mit/clients/xmh/tocutil.c around line 612, in the
- function TUAppendToc. Anyone who would like to hack up a solution, run
- with it for a while, and send us a bug report on it is more than welcome.
- Are there problems with the scan format or elsewhere in xmh when more
- than 4 digits are used, or is this code really just random sillyness?
