  21.        Logic programming is used more widely in solving real-life
  22.        problems and building applications. Therefore, specialized
  23.        tools, techniques and environments are needed to enable easy,
  24.        rapid and sound development and maintenance of large software
  25.        systems based on logic programming. Based on the interest and
  26.        the success of the three previous workshops on this topic, we
  27.        are organizing a fourth workshop within JICSLP'92 to address the
  28.        development and use of logic programming environments.

  32.        The focus for the workshop is software development and
  33.        maintenance tools for logic programming. We solicit papers in,
  34.        but not limited to, the following areas.

  36.         --debugging 
  37.         --testing
  38.         --explanation
  39.          --reverse-engineering
  40.         --shells
  41.         --tools for expert system development
  42.         --software evolution support
  43.         --CSCW (Computer Supported Cooperative Work)
  44.                   environments for joint development
  45.

  47.        The workshop is intended as a forum for researchers to discuss
  48.        complete architectures for environments or specific techniques
  49.        and tools for development and maintenance of such environments.
  50.        We also invite participation of users with special environments
  51.        on the matter to discuss their needs.

  55.        Please submit 3 copies of an extended abstract (11pt, around
  56.        but not to exceed 6 pages including figures and references) to
