  22. :    I know that CONVEX support Perl but my system is still using the
  23. :3.18 version of Perl (9.1 ConvexOS). I am trying to update to Perl
  24. :4.035 but the C compiler complaint in the routine doio.c at lines
  25. :2194 and 2281 because a type redefinition problem.

  29. Try compiling in good ole -pcc mode instead of ANSI+POSIX+Convex mode.
