  12. I seem to be at a loss as how to make my perl programs read flags 
  13. (a.k.a switches, options).

  15. What is a good way? I admit that I have the Nutshell Perl book, 
  16. but I can't seem to find a simple example. I am just beginning
  17. to use perl and I find most of the examples containing switches
  18. confusing.
