- Uses of the former : Ability to apply filters or other emacs commands
- without narrow/widen to individual regions by name. mapcar external filters/
- perl scripts or anything else on the regions.

- Uses of the latter : Ability to apply filters on text which is conceptually
- contiguous but physically separate.

- IMHO, these two features make any folding editor out there completely
- irrelevant at the same satisfying the needs of xedit/ispf editor exclude fans.
