- Can someone show me how to convert a real variable to a character array
- (i.e. string)? I'm sure this is incredibly easy and I just haven't been
- looking in the right manuals. Someone once told me how to do such a
- thing, but I don't remember it except that some simple formatted write
- statement was used. Anyways, thanks in advance :-).
-
- p.s. I'm using Sun Fortran. If there's some simple intrinsic function
- to do this, please do tell!
