  13.    I'm all in favor of promoting Forth (or OOF) as the Next Big Thing. Most 
  14. people have never even heard of Forth at this point.  It can be  viewed as 
  15. something new and wonderful, if presented in the proper light.

  17.    I like to point out to people that PostScript is actually just "a very  odd
  18.  implementation of Forth, dedicated to imaging."  True, PostScript  doesn't 
  19. compile, but doesn't that make Forth BETTER than PostScript?

  21.    The "modern" paradigm of "noun > verb" or "object > action" is very  
  22. Forth-like.  We put numbers (nouns, objects) on the stack and apply Forth  
  23. words (verbs, actions) to them.  Isn't this the basis of current user  
  24. interface design?

  26.    Much of the Forth community seems resigned to fade into obscurity.  The  
  27. current resistance to dpANS-3 reflects this attitude.  I'm ready to leave  
  28. the nay-sayers in the dust.
