  22. Mitch, I think I saw that they were going to be writting this thing in C.  If
  23. that is true, I doubt any vendor but you will be affected. However, you most
  24. certainly _should_ be concerned.  If they do succeed in making "THE Forth" you
  25. could potentially be out of business, but when have you _ever_ seen one Forth
  26. that everyone could agree on?

  28. Personally, I'm not scared in the least by the public domain Forths. They
  29. constantly drive me to make improvements and I can always beat them in support
  30. and documentation.  So, I say let them try their bests.  With an ANS Standard,
  31. we all have an equal shot at "THE Forth of the 90s".  I welcome the
  32. competition.
