- Contrary to some inaccurate messages that have appeared in comp.lang.c++,
- every revision the C++ committee has made to the ARM has been by
- formal vote. The change to allow cast-from-const appeared in the May 14, 1991
- working paper, and was discussed and approved by formal vote on June 20, 1991
- as recorded in the meeting's minutes.
