- Hi,
-
- I am very new to this newsgroup and the world of ADA. I will be attempting
- to learn Ada pretty soon (actually, I got to learn it fairly well in 2
- months) and would like some tips and advice and books:
-
- Prior to this, I have been programming in C and C++ and it would really
- help if anyone who has been in this situation can share some experiences eg
- what to look out for, pitfalls to avoid and differences in programming
- paradigm etc.
-
- *Please*, I am *not* interested in starting a 'religious' war ie I am *not*
- interested in C/C++ vs Ada or language lawyering. I just need hints/tips on
- transitioning from C/C++ to Ada.
-
- Finally, I saw many Ada books at the store, a lot of them use parallel
- examples in Pascal. Are there any books that are written more to help
- C/C++ programmers transition to Ada?
-
- Thanks in advance.
