  12. First, let me apologize.  I usually hit the 'j'unk key when I 
  13. see a request for info on translators.  Mostly because I don't
  14. philosophically support the usage of them.  Well, now I'M the
  15. one asking for information.

  17. I quickly looked through the Translators.txt file on the AJPO
  18. host and found a decent enough listing of available translators.
  19. Unfortunately, that listing gave no indication of the health
  20. or robustness of said products.  I am looking for "lessons learned"
  21. using a source translator.  I am also curious as to what the
  22. "flavor" of FORTRAN was supported by the tool.  We are about to
  23. embark on a major translation of software for the Space Transportation
  24. System (Shuttle).  Some of this software is in FORTRAN 66! (Did 
  25. I happen to mention GOTO's? :-)
