  21. The number can't do anything but grow. Since Congress has made it a LAW that
  22. there will be no more waivers allowed and none have been approved for about
  23. three years now. Also the House Appropriations Committee has made it quite
  24. clear that they are currently looking to make an EXAMPLE out of someone that
  25. is trying to get around the use of Ada.

  27. Ada is here to stay and if you work for a government contractor you had better
  28. start learning it now or find a different line of work. Why, because it's now
  29. law and in the next year or so Ada 9X will be complete, GNU/Ada will be
  30. available next summer, and the number of tools for Ada programming are 
  31. increasing daily. Vendors are moving real hard to get the types of tools out 
  32. there that are now available for C and other languages.

  34. My .02 worth, don't bother to flame because it will do nothing but waste
  35. the bandwidth. Those dealing with Ada now, they know it and those that don't
  36. will soon.
